Blogging for Beginners from ProBlogger

Darren Rowse from ProBlogger has a great series of posts entitled Blogging for Beginners. I wish that I had read some of these before I started blogging, I would have done a couple of things differently. The main things that I would have changed is that I would not have used Blogger. Nothing against Blogger at all, it is a great platform for blogging, but now I would like to get my own host and domain name, but I fear that it will be a pain to migrate everything. So, I wish that I would have just done it that way in the first place. Oh well, that will give me something to do some rainy (or snowy) day.

Been enjoying your blog for a while now. I just wanted to say that it is pretty simple to move a Blogger blog over to your own domain. All you really have to do is switch that option on the setup page (and register a domain of course). You can also include a snipet of code in your old blog to automatically redirect others to your new domain. You should be able to do everything in a few minutes...

Thanks for the reply Gary...that is some really good news. I had pretty much discounted moving as I thought that it would be awful. Now I will have to look into that some more.

Nice looking site you have too...I will have to check it out more in depth this weekend. Thanks again.

I did the same thing. I set up my first blog on blogger and then moved to my new blog in August of last year. I use Dreamhost and have been pretty happy with them. If you are interested in Dreamhost, let me know. I might be able to help.

JLP,
I have your post about Dreamhost bookmarked and I am pretty sure that is the host I will use someday. Thanks for the info.

On the back side of the links in the Breitling Watch , there should be a clear manufacturer's marking, and the strap should have the model number. If the Navitimer World lacks these marks. Also, the steel used in the fakes, for obvious cost-cutting reasons, is usually cheaper-looking than the steel used for Montbrillant Datora . Plus, the nine o'clock subdial in fakes shows the days of the week instead of the date, and the font is often wrong when compared to the Breitling Avenger .
The kind of Louboutin Shoes , that will never ever wear off and go on to last you for years and years to come.
