Great stuff guys (albeit mostly RS)!! I think the content is great, just keep doing what you're doing.
I read the blog bottom-up to keep in time order. The one little suggestion I had early on (that you later brought up in a post) was going to be to have an article about paying taxes thru escrow accounts. When my wife and I took out our mortgage, I never even realized it was an option! I later on found out about how you can pay your taxes without-escrow. I think just little things like this are the key to saving more, investing more & having your $ compound more for you. Having said that, I too haven't switched our taxes over, but maybe I should look at doing that in 2006 as well. I'm just not sure if it's worth the effort since we plan to only be in our house for another 2.5 years. Let me know what you find out (you know how to find me).
RS, the wife and I are 3 months away from having no car loans (and only student loans & primary mortgage remaining)... so we're in a very similar boat. I'm very much on board and interested in every one of these discussions...
Lastly, props to "The Automatic Millionaire". That's the book that changed the way I thought about our finances.
