What $300,000+ Will Buy You in the Hudson Valley (NY)
Some of you may have seen JLP from AllThingsFinancial post on What $300,000+ Will Buy You in Houston...now all us PF bloggers are going to show what $300,000 can buy you in our area. Jim from Blueprint for Financial Prosperity posted on What $300,000+ Will Buy You in Howard Co. (Baltimore).
Here is what you can get for $300,000 about an hour and a half north of New York City (it is even worse the closer you get to the city). This was our last house that we sold just over a year ago for almost $300,000. It was a nice house, but it was still just a small raised ranch in a bad school district. Quite a bit different than the beautiful brick colonial that JLP saw in Houston.
